After the tragedy that hit a church in Sutherland Springs, TX where 26 people were killed and 20 people were wounded by a lone gunman on November 5th, Rally For Law Enforcement’s founder has put forth an offer to have its members that carry a firearm to help guard churches and synagogues nationwide from more of these types of attacks.“Many of our members carry a firearm including myself, so we’re offering to stand watch while houses of worship like churches and synagogues conduct their services. What happened in Texas can happen anywhere but this was a house of worship and a clear assault on Christianity and God. Hopefully, we can work with the leaders of the congregations to help ensure that their services and events are kept safe and that people are able to worship and praise God in peace,” said Rally For Law Enforcement’s founder Nohl Rosen.Rally For Law Enforcement is offering this service for free and all the leaders of the congregation (pastor, Rabbi, etc) would just simply have to make the request. Rosen says this will be volunteer based and he’s hopeful many people will support this operation.“The ideal situation would be for the leaders of the congregations to encourage their members to carry into the church and synagogues. Imagine how many lives could be saved if a member of the congregation carried their firearm into the church or a synagogue? It might make the bad guys think twice about hitting a house of worship if they knew that one or members of the members of the flock was armed. Firearms can save lives and have saved lives when good citizens that carry are willing to step in and stop the bad guys,” Rosen added.

A Phoenix man was seen praying recently in front of the Arizona Peace Officer Memorial which is located at Wesley Bolin Plaza in front of the State Capitol. This is something you won’t see in a news story but the video has gone slightly viral. As it turns out the man regularly prays in the plaza and goes around to each memorial there to do so. The man mentioned his uncle was a retired police officer and that he himself was a military veteran.
